anne garland web design

Website design that emphasizes attractiveness, accessibility and ease of use, and clear structure and navigation.

I’ve been designing and building websites since 1996, when I designed the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s first website. Our photography budget was so small that I scanned real flowers and ferns for the site navigation. Since then I’ve designed more than 20 websites, including large-scale, information-intensive sites for New York City’s recycling bureau, as well as sites for schools, cultural and environmental organizations, and artists and musicians. My client list includes links to live sites.
